On-the-spot consultation for cochlear implants (for people with significant hearing loss who may benefit)
🌟 Why attend?
Hearing health is critical: Good hearing improves communication, social engagement, independence and even cognitive health.

Balance screening detects issues that might lead to falls or unsteadiness—especially important as we age.

Occupational and speech screenings identify early barriers in children or adults so that timely intervention can help increase independence and quality of life.

Early hearing intervention (including possibly cochlear implants) can significantly change outcomes—especially in children but also adults who have untreated hearing loss.

This is a free opportunity, available to everyone—whether you suspect a problem or simply want a health check.

🛠 What to expect & how to prepare:
Please arrive between the time-slots given. Registration/check-in will happen first.
You’ll be guided through various screening stations: Hearing (audiologist), Balance (vestibular/OT), Occupational screening, Speech & language screening.
The cochlear implant consultation station will be available for those recommended after hearing screening or those who ask for it.
After screening, you will receive a summary of your results and recommended next steps if follow-up is needed.
What to bring:
A valid ID & contact details
If you have previous hearing test reports, ear surgery history, MRI/CT scans – bring them along
For children, bring relevant developmental/school reports if any
Comfortable clothing and shoes (for balance/occupational screening)
If you already use hearing aids or assistive devices, bring them or bring details

Please arrive at least 10 minutes early for registration.
